CHS Band was awarded a SUPERIOR band rating and

second place overall at Newnan,

scoring only one point away from the two-time

national champion Lassiter H.S. Band.

In addition, our color guard and percussion received

SUPERIOR ratings. What a great way to end the season!

World Championships
Finalists!

The CHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble delivered a third great performance in FINALS competition at the WGI Percussion World Championships Friday night!

Our kids went head-to-head with some of the finest programs
in the nation, and gave them all a run for their money!
When the dust settled, our group was ranked 8th out of 47
competing ensembles.
Here are the scores for the top twelve units in finals:

to Latitude 36 Winter Guard!

At SCGC World Championships in Dayton, OH Friday,
they scored 78.8 in prelims and advanced to semis, where they scored 82.35 - just a notch away from making finals.

Hats off for an incredible first year run!!!
